The SP Diagnostics diesel adapter is a robust and vital tool for any workshop dealing with early diesel systems that require manual pump timing. It is simple to use and suits a wide range of car and commercial diesel engines. The kit includes the main unit, 12v power cables, 6mm piezo electric transducer and a carry case. Other sizes of transducer are available. The adapter should be used with a good quality timing light (not included). When connected to the engine, this equipment will provide the user with an rpm reading (0-6000) and, via a timing light, the ability to check and adjust dynamic timing. Timing light trigger and rpm reading stability is excellent with our new 'Trigger Stabilisation System' this is a useful improvement over previous versions.
